I absolutely cannot give these razors enough starts. If you are looking for a razor with no rash, this is the one to get!!!!This products is great, no cuts and fast shave as it has the ability to shave both directionsI have sensitive skin so I was worried about trying this razor but when I tell you this razor is amazing im not lying! You can really shave forwards and backwards with no cuts or razor burn and my skin was so soft after! Give it a try you won't regret it!Pricey! And for some reason I'm on the quest for a perfect razor, happens about every 17 years or so, like cicadas ..?! Anyway, I tried three raors this summer and this one is, by far, my favorite. I don't think the other reviewers are, quite frankly, using it right to be getting nicks or cuts or razor burn (they may also have sensitive skin, which I don't, thus their mileage has varied). When women shave, we tend to start low and sweep upward, which is not the technique here: Start low, if you must, but use short strokes and *scrub*, if you will. Place whole cartridge head flat on the skin surface and pull up, never lifting the razor, then almost immediately push down. Up, down, up down, and so forth. It's up to you how much pressure to use, this is I think dependent on the coarseness of your hair, but too light (as in, with trepidation) will require more strokes over the same surface and yes: That will probably give you razor burn. Too hard and I imagine one might draw a bit of blood *and* get burned at the same time. There are two moisture strips, top and bottom of the cartridge, it's important to keep these dry between uses or they get bloated and slimy and they'll spoil the blades.*Note: Dear Razor Industry, while we all know about the Pink Tax unfortunately applied to personal hygiene products sold to women, I personally would appreciate a simple, woman-specific detail if you insist on inflating the prices so much: A razor hanger with every raor. EVERY RAZOR. I mean I know some men shave in the shower but all women shave in the shower, so it would be swell to leave this very pricey gadget in a convenient, dry spot between uses so that the blades don't get rusty and slimy. Please consider it.Anyway: I love this raor, more than I've lived another razor in ages. It's easy to use, it cuts shaving time considerably and it makes me want to shave every time I shower. I like it with the HARRY'S Shave Gel with Aloe, a little goes a long way, there's just one thing that infuriates me about this thing and that's the cost. Upwards of $13 for 3 cartridges - when I can find them! Here or at Walmart or at neither but I don't drive so I'm at the mercy of the internet and I have yet to find these for less money at either place.It's easy for me to use.. I cut. Easy with others. Never Nick myself but AMAZON is the only place I can find the bladesThis seems like a Hudsucker idea, but hairs do grow different ways.Pros: Can shave both directions same pass- feels reckless at 1st, but really helps get close no razor burn. Still sharp after 8x use.( Blade not touching anything in hanging holder in shower)Cons: all 'lady' razor heads entombed in xtra plastic @ blades to keep us from shaving too close(?)- so there's that. Also use soap/cream, etc. Moisturizing strip in center not raised so no skin contact.My q is why are there more backwards facing blades??? Head only attaches 1 way and no one is using this more in the reverse direction. Why?I have loved the idea of a 2 way razor and had wished for a long time that a company would make one.This razor is what I have wanted but it’s very hard to find. Apparently not everyone thought it as great as I do. Once I found it on Amazon I bought it.Arrived as described. No damage and on time.I do hope this company and seller continue to offer this razor. Makes shaving hard to reach areas and crazy hair growth much easier.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!I thought the back and forth motion would be a great idea for a closer shave, but this razor barely cuts any hair and goes dull after 3-4 uses. Definitely NOT a close shave, even after much back and forth up and down the legs. It leaves patches at random, even on the smoothest flatest part (i.e.: shin).The blade keeps popping off the handle for unknown reasons, since it clicks into place, so technically it SHOULD be secure... I've gotten some cuts because of that. Forget lightly tapping to loosen trapped hair, it will just go flying.This is the ONLY razor i buy now - but it should be noted that the disposable version of this razor isnt as good as the one with refills, the moisture strips pretty much totally disappear after 2 uses, and they just dont seem to be able to shave as close. I found a tip online that said to use an exfoliating scrub on the area youre going to shave first, then follow up with a good shaving cream and preferably a new or fairly new razor and WHOA..major difference in the results vs not using exfoliating scrub! At least for me it was..especially with this razor. Ive personally never had issues with it hurting my skin or having the blade pop off spontaneously as some other reviewers have had happen either. Based solely on my own experiences and results, I definitely would ( and DO!!) recommend this product!This is so perfect if you’re a mom and have to take a quick shower.You can shave extremely quick and not worry about any cuts.I was about abrehensive as who wants to go back and forth with a razor on their legs and get cut?But I’ve been using for a couple weeks now and it’s safe to say I won’t be using any other razor from here on out.You won’t regret to have this razor: easy to use and very safe. I was skeptical about both directions but it works perfectly. I ordered 3 refills but it came with a razor with 2 refills. I won’t bother to return and reorder. I just wish I had what I ordered.Its cool that it goes up and down in one motion but the shave isnt great and gets clogged easily and fast.
